Do I have to pay you a fee to find me a job?

No, recruitment agencies cannot charge you a fee to find you employment. We are paid by the companies who we recruit for. If you are asked to pay money to a recruitment agency, stop the process and inform the authorities. We always recommend using a consultant who is accredited by the RCSA and holds an Employment agents licence.

What type of visa do I require to work in Australia?

You require a valid work permit or working visa for us to find you a job. For more information on eligibility for an Australian work visa, please visit immigration.

How do I register with PKL Recruitment?

To register with PKL Recruitment you can do this online or call us on Sydney: (02) 92324980 or Melbourne: (03) 96080333. We will then arrange a suitable time for you to come in and have a chat with one of our recruitment consultants.

What happens once I register with PKL Recruitment?

Once you are registered, all your details are inputted onto our system. When suitable jobs are placed with PKL Recruitment, we will contact you to see if the position is of interest to you.

Will my resume ever be sent without my consent?

We will always discuss the role and seek your consent prior to sending your resume to any of our clients.

How do I get paid if I am temping through PKL Recruitment?

At PKL Recruitment we run our payroll every Monday for business support and Tuesday for call centre. We require you to finalise your timesheet online at the end of each working week and have it to us by the following Monday morning. You will need to give us your BSB, account number and account name of your Australian bank account, superannuation fund details, and your Australian Tax File Number.
